2. Access data and hosting

When you visit this website your browser transmits technically necessary data to our hosting provider (server log files): IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This processing serves the secure and stable provision of the website on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is deleted or anonymised after a short period. Data processing agreements under Art. 28 GDPR are in place with our service providers.

3. Contact and enquiry form

If you contact us via the form, by email or by phone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, company, email address, product description) in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer required for that purpose; statutory retention periods (in particular commercial and tax law, up to 10 years) remain unaffected.

To transmit enquiries we use the form service Formspree, operated by Formspree Inc., USA. The data entered in the form is passed on to this service and delivered to us by email. Processing is based on handling your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in a reliable enquiry process (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This involves a transfer to a third country (USA), which is safeguarded by an adequacy decision or the EU standard contractual clauses.

4. Cookies

We only use technically necessary cookies required to operate the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, section 25(2) TDDDG). Optional cookies, for example for audience measurement, are only set with your explicit consent (section 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

For audience measurement we use Plausible Analytics. Plausible works without cookies and without any personal identifier. It records aggregated visit numbers and the event of a successfully submitted enquiry (with language and page path). No IP address is stored permanently. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in privacy-friendly audience measurement (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It is used for audience measurement and to analyse user behaviour in order to improve our website.

Google Analytics is only used if you have actively given your consent via our cookie banner beforehand. Without consent no Google scripts are loaded and no data is transmitted to Google. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, section 25(1) TDDDG). We use Google Consent Mode v2; analytics and advertising storage default to “denied” and are only set to “granted” for analytics after your consent.

Once consent is given, Google Analytics sets cookies that allow your visit to be evaluated pseudonymously (e.g. pages viewed, time on site, approximate location, device type). IP anonymisation is enabled, so your IP address is truncated and not stored permanently. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; such transfers are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision or the EU standard contractual clauses.

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

6. Recipients and transfers to third countries

Your data is only shared with service providers supporting us in operating the website and handling enquiries (hosting, email, appointment booking) and where we are legally obliged to do so. Where data is transferred to third countries, this takes place on the basis of an adequacy decision or the EU standard contractual clauses.

8. Fonts

This website uses locally hosted fonts served from our own server only. No Google Fonts or other external font services are loaded, so no connection to Google or other third parties is established and no IP address is transmitted to them.
